Bottle Cap Mermaid
This piece was created for a sculpture class "found object" assignment. I began with a piece of 3/4" plywood and stapled chicken wire and then used paper mache to sculpt her body. Bottle caps were applied with hot glue and then reinforced with superglue. The mermaid's dreadlocks are bottlecaps strung onto copper wire
